Welcome Deb Oxborough, Treasurer, to Aortic Hope!

ree

Before we begin this Welcome Announcement, we want to give heartfelt thanks to Nicole Blackburn for her amazing service as our Treasurer over the past two years. Her dedication, care, and commitment made a meaningful difference to our community, and we are so grateful for all she has done. We will truly miss her in this role.

Thank you, Nicole 💙

Now, we ask everyone to give a warm welcome to community member, survivor and supporter, Deb Oxborough on becoming our next Treasurer for 2026🎉

Deb was born and raised in Minnesota, though she escapes the winter cold for a couple of months each year to visit her parents in Naples, Florida. Along with her parents, she’s close to her brother, her two daughters and their husbands, and her growing family that includes four grandchildren and three bonus grandkids.

Throughout her career, Deb specialized in call centers—managing them, building new operations, and partnering with outsourced teams.

Earlier in her working life, she supported several small businesses with accounting, office management, and payroll.

Today, she enjoys a part-time role that leaves plenty of time for weekly card games with friends, trying new restaurants, attending concerts and comedy shows, and spending time with loved ones.

In November 2018, Deb survived a Type A aortic dissection, a life-altering event that nearly claimed her life. While searching for connection and support among other survivors, she discovered Aortic Hope and found a community who truly understood her journey. She is grateful and excited to be part of such a meaningful organization.

Please welcome Deb♥️
