Welcome Branden Tejada, Medical Social Media Administrator

🎉🫀 PLEASE JOIN US IN WELCOMING BRANDEN TEJADA TO AORTIC HOPE!
We’re excited to welcome Branden Tejada, a second-year medical student at the CUNY School of Medicine, to the Aortic Hope volunteer team!
Branden will be helping us take complex medical information and research related to aortic disease and turn it into educational content that is easier for patients, families, and caregivers to understand and use.
We love seeing future healthcare professionals step beyond the classroom to learn from—and give back to—the patient community. It creates an opportunity for medical students to better understand the patient experience while helping our community become more informed.
"Hi everyone! My name is Branden, and I’m a second-year medical student at the CUNY School of Medicine. I’m a first-generation Latino (half Colombian, half Dominican) and an aspiring cardiac surgeon. My experiences in aortic disease research have inspired me to volunteer at Aortic Hope and serve incredible people who are either dealing with aortic disease or are survivors. I’m excited to be part of the Aortic Hope team and look forward to supporting its mission of advocacy and providing valuable information to patients and their families.
Sincerely,
Branden”
Welcome to the Aortic Hope family, Branden! We’re so happy to have you on the team and look forward to sharing your work with our community.
Better information. Better understanding. More empowered patients.
