Today is Movement for Movement Monday with Aortic Hope!

Aortic Hope started a MOVEMENT for MOVEMENT!!!

Check out this article from Harvard Health Publishing titled: Why you should move — even just a little — throughout the day. It goes into detail about the effects of how "Sitting for long, uninterrupted periods of time may leave you more prone to cardiovascular problems."

As we all know, doing nothing is doing something however, many of us need some support to simply get moving (whatever that may be for you)

So, it's time to do something, anything...just MOVE!

Following your doctor's orders, do whatever he/she has cleared you to do. This can be sit and fold laundry, walk to the mailbox, walk around the mall, stroll outside, walk around the inside of your home, try the stairs....whatever you do, just MOVE!

Whatever you are cleared to do will be good for you! Fear can hold us back, fear that an aneurysm will grow if we move too much, fear we will get too tired, fear we can get hurt. If you are cleared by your doctor, it's time to work through the fear. We CAN do this together!

We will be providing gentle reminders throughout the months and giving away random prizes from those that submit descriptions or pictures.
