It's A Movement For Movement Monday!

It’s A Movement for Movement Monday ☀️

☀️ Summer reminder: If you’re moving outdoors, start early or later in the evening, bring water, and take breaks. Heat can affect blood pressure and some medications may increase sensitivity to dehydration.

"This is what resilience looks like: choosing movement again."

Resilience isn’t always loud or dramatic. Sometimes it looks like choosing to move again — taking the walk, doing the stretch, or simply showing up for yourself today. Every step forward, no matter how small, is a powerful reminder of your strength.

As temperatures rise, move mindfully. Heat can affect hydration, blood pressure, and how certain medications impact the body, sometimes causing dizziness, fatigue, or lightheadedness. Be sure to drink water before and after activity, choose cooler parts of the day when possible, and give yourself permission to slow down and listen to your body.

And as always, talk to your doctor before engaging in exercise.

This week, let resilience look like beginning again. Choose movement in whatever way feels right for you. 💙

How are you choosing movement today?
