Live Q&A: Allison Bathula D, BCCCP and Pharmaceuticals

Allison Bathula went to pharmacy school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Upon graduation, she moved to Baltimore to continue her training in a pharmacy residency in critical care. She now works in the cardiac surgery intensive care unit at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Jacob Wellen is a 4th-year pharmacy student who upon graduation from pharmacy school would like to pursue a residency focusing on genetics.

We discussed the most common medications given to those of us with Aortic Disease, the drug classifications, potential side effects, timing and effectiveness, interactions and so much more.
