It's Aortic Dissection Awareness Week - Support Groups

YOU DONโT HAVE TO EXPLAIN HERE.
Living with aortic disease can sometimes feel like speaking a language that very few people understand:
-The fear.
-The waiting.
-The scans.
-The surgeries.
-The medications.
-The โis this normal?โ moments.
-The recovery that doesnโt always look like recovery.
And the life after the crisis that no one really prepared you for.

Because no one understands aortic disease quite like someone who has lived it. And no one understands the unique role of a care partner quite like someone who has walked that road alongside a loved one.
Our groups bring together patients, survivors, and care partners who understand the journeyโnot just from a medical perspective, but from the perspective of actually living it.
We listen.ย
We share.
We laugh.
We cry.
We learn from one another.

Itโs about finding people who get it.
