Feel Good Friday with Your Mental Health

Today on Feel Good Friday, let’s talk about how focusing a bit on our mental health can really and truly help us feel good, despite the challenges that we may face as Aortic Survivors or Caregivers.


Living with the fear of the potential to have further damage to our aortas can cause a lot of stress and worry. Try to focus on things that you CAN do to keep your mind off of this.


A lot of understanding of yourself and knowing that you must be gentle with yourself is so important for mental health.


Being kind to yourself and not having high expectations of what you can “do”, instead try to focus on just “being”. Working on just being in the moment instead of actually having to be busy and doing things may feel foreign but the benefits are amazing.
