Michael LoPresti is a longtime ultra marathon runner who was diagnosed with a bicuspid aortic valve and an ascending aortic aneurysm. Following open heart surgery repair several years ago, he returned to running ultras. At the end of 2024, he completed 377 miles of running at the Across the Years ultra outside Phoenix, AZ.
