Today is Therapeutic Thursday at Aortic Hope!


🤔 We all know that Pumphead is a real thing! This includes having a thought and instantly forgetting it, not remembering where you are going, repeating yourself multiple times to loved ones or even leaving your phone in the refrigerator!


Cognitive and short-term memory loss are very real experiences for a lot of community members after open heart surgery. This can be due to an initial dissection, micro bubbles in the tubing or possibly due to medications that we are prescribed.
