It's Movement for Movement Monday

Today is Movement for Movement Monday!

๐Ÿ‘‰ As we all know, doing nothing is doing something however, many of us need some support to simply get moving (whatever that may be for you).

๐Ÿ‘‰ Following your doctor's orders, do whatever he/she has cleared you to do. While recovering from open heart surgery, you may find it a little difficult to "move" and that's normal.

๐Ÿ‘‰ You may find yourself asking what movements can I do post surgery or while in watch and wait?

โค๏ธ Well, in order to help answer one of those questions, Dr. Siddharth Prakash from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston is presently working on a randomized clinical trial studying the mental and physical benefits of exercise for people who survived an Aortic Dissection.

๐Ÿ‘‰ If you would like to know more about participating in this exercise study (at 1 of 3 locations), check out the link below:

Before you begin any exercise program or participate in a research study, have a conversation with your personal physician.
