Today is Feel Good Friday at Aortic Hope.
👉Aortic Hope was originally a Facebook page, created in 2016, aimed at providing inspirational quotes. The need for Hope, Awareness and Support was so great that the organization decided to become a 501(c)3 non-profit whose board is comprised of unpaid volunteers, touched by Aortic Disease. Aortic Hope soon expanded from a Facebook page to having a presence on YouTube with their AHTV channel, providing live interviews with practitioners, survivors, caregivers and more!
🎉Aortic Hope has also been nominated for WEGO Health (Advocating for Others, Healthcare Collaborator, Patient Leader Hero), received a Point of Light Award, featured on radio shows (TajTalk, Sirius XM Doctor Radio), television (The Donna Drake Show), attendance at conferences and symposiums (The John Ritter Foundation, Rock from the Heart, The Society for Thoracic Surgeons, Eastern Cardiothoracic Surgical Society) and more.
