This is according to an article from The University of Calvary, written by Dawn Smith, Libin Cardiovascular Institute, titled: UCalgary Team Tackles Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms.
⚠️ AAA's are dangerous because if they rupture there is a 50% chance of death. Data suggests surgery for all aneurysms based on a variety of factors and it can be very frustrating if a dissection or rupture occurs before an aneurysm has reached the recommended size for surgery. This article will share information about how researchers are developing software to help determine the best timing of when to consider surgery.
