Today is Survivor Series Saturday at Aortic Hope!
❤ We are back with another story for our Survivor Series! On certain Saturdays during the month, we will share stories from survivors or caregivers within the Aortic community.
👉 Today we again bring you the heart breaking story of Lindsey Lewis as told by her loving friend, Jillian Forsberg. Jillian is working very hard not only as a supporter of Aortic Hope but as a board member of Think Aorta US to make sure that the medical community stops to Think Aorta, especially when presented with a younger patient. Jillian has also learned that it is not only the medical community that must stay diligent but the community at large. Lindsey's story is a tragically familiar story but one that must be told so we all learn to advocate and educate.
