Aortic HOPE

This event is a passion project, founded and directed, by Carmen David after surviving an aortic dissection in May 2015, 22hrs after the birth of her second daughter. Run for Aortic Health raises funds specifically earmarked for research to be sent to The John Ritter Foundation for their research program (JRRP), and other related research studies and initiatives for Aortic Aneurysm and Aortic Dissection; This crucial work paves the way for aortic disease to be better understood and managed.

The Annapolis Blues FC are a community-focused, pre-professional soccer club based in Annapolis, Maryland. They were founded in 2022 and quickly became one of the best-supported lower-division soccer clubs in the region.

⚽ What makes the Blues interesting

Men's team: Competes in USL League Two, a high-level pre-professional league that serves as a pathway for elite college players and aspiring professionals. The Blues joined the league in 2025 after playing in the NPSL.
Women's team: Competes in the USL W League, joining in 2025.
Home: Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis.
Founded: 2022.
Mission: Built around Community, Opportunity and Equality, with a strong emphasis on connecting the club with Annapolis and the surrounding community.
