Today is Therapeutic Thursday at Aortic Hope

Whether you have had an aortic dissection, aneurysm repair, past of the watch and wait or are a caregiver, chances are when you have a "ping or pang" (unexplained discomfort in your chest) you often wonder if you should go straight to the ER.

Many times these sensations have perfectly reasonable explinations that are far from life threatening however, determining if it is ER worthy can be complicated.

We feel strongly there is nothing wrong in finding out if everything is ok.

In this article from the kormedi.com some brief information and explanations are given to many of the "normal" and troubling sensations we may all feel and how to handle them.

Remember, ALWAYS check with your personal physician if you feel something is uncomfortable or "not right".
