It's Therapeutic Thursday!

Updated: Dec 31, 2021

Today is Therapeutic Thursday at Aortic Hope!

We all know how stressful life can be without the added physical and emotional pressures that aortic disease adds to it. However, we would like you to try something today.

We would like you to try and "walk away" from your aortic disease for a while. Removing the burden of what we deal with on a daily basis can be so beneficial for us emotionally. We realize that for some people this will be very difficult however if you can "walk away" from it invading your thoughts or life for even just 5 minutes, we know it will make you feel so much better.

We know how tough this can be for a lot of us, but we would like everybody to try. Some people might be able to push aside these thoughts for the whole day, some might be only able to do it for 5 minutes. Either way, we would like you to try and lift some of the burdens that this does to us off yourself. If you think it is too tough, start with 5 or 10 minutes and go from there. Most important is to find some time for yourself without this cloud over your head.
