Aortic Hope's Caregivers Support Group

Caregivers will be given an opportunity to openly share their thoughts, feelings and questions in our support group and no survivors are allowed. The facilitator is our own Jaime Barnhart.

Jaime Barnhart became an “Aortic disease caregiver” 15 years ago when her then-boyfriend-now-husband Bill,. experienced an aortic dissection. Since that time, Bill and Jaime had a family and have nursed Bill through over a dozen surgeries (multiple Aortic and OHS), hernias, infections and more. Bill and their oldest daughter have Marfan Syndrome.

Jaime is one of the co-founders of Aortic Hope and works full time as an executive of a nonprofit trade association management in DC.
